So, today we had a crossing from Russia into Mongolia. The 8 hours spent at the border control felt longer than the six days crossing through Russia by a long way.
We do manage to get off and explore, get physically assaulted by a drunk Russian border agent who was just wandering around twon swearing and complaining about foreigners.
We enjoy a complete meal of borsch and burgers for about 90p and spend some time with a kid from the next compartment - a little Mongolian boy taking the train with his parents to Ulan Bator.
