What a contrast today. Non stop torrential rain the whole day soaks right through to the bone - and sadly my bag, wallet and trans-siberian handbook.
We take a walking tour of the city, which is fantastic, I really did fall in love with the Siberian charm of the place. Old wooden buildings, tree lined avenues, boutique shops and a very local, homely feel about the place; despite the rain.
Sadly not enough time as we re-board the train for Ulan Bator in the evening, goodbye Russia!
